About Us
Henry and Kathy Clark live in Central New York and are a small hobby breeder of Great Danes. The Clark’s Danes are part of their family first and they show them as well.
They got their first dane, Vito, many years ago from a local breeder who has since retired. Henry and Kathy have always liked larger dogs (they are definitely not a small dog family, although there is nothing wrong with small dogs -- the variety of His creation means that there really is a "dog for everyone"). Vito was a really great Great Dane -- lovable, goofy, loyal, and they also learned how the author of the Marmaduke cartoons might have been more accurate than we thought. Over time, and as they gained more and more "dog friends" (people who have since become more than just acquaintances with a dog), they found out you can't just have one Great Dane...
Both Henry and Kathy are active members of their local Great Dane club.
Henry and Kathy encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
